Classes

  • Level I foundation

    This class is open to beginner students and new practioners and is focused on creating stability and stamina in the standing poses and shoulder balance. Other basics postures are praticed as well to allow an intergrated introduction to iyengar yoga.

  • Level II

    This class is open for students with experience in the basic asanas and shoulderstand and is focused on creating more depth of understanding in these postures. Other more intermediate postures will be introduced, including headstand and unsupported backbends.

  • Level III

    his class is open for students with confidence in the basic postures, shoulderstand and headstand. Philosophy and Pranayama are introduced. Self-practice is highly recommended.

  • Calm & Focused

    This class is open to elderly students or students in need of a gentler introduction to Iyengar yoga. It is a moderately paced class where the postures are taught with adjustments and props to accommodate the students.

  • Restoratives

    This class is open to student with experience in the basic asana’s and is focused on supported and restorative postures to open the body and quiet the mind in preparation for pranayama.

  • Women’s foundation

    This class is open to women who want to improve their physical and mental stability for the different phases in their life, when their hormone regulation is an important factor. The menstrual cycle, pregnancy and the menopause ask for adjustments in your yoga practice that are taught to you in this class.
