Mindful Movement

3-days course exploring the body-mind relationship

Mindful Movement is a course consisting of three classes based on awareness in the body. We will be working with basic movements, such as standing, sitting, laying, jumping, rotating, squatting and more. During this course, there will be three different focus points for the whole course, all with the aim to gain more knowledge about how we live in our body. This course is accessible to anyone with a desire to move and a need to understand our bodies in a different way.

During the first class we will learn how to focus our awareness on different parts of the body. In the second class, we will deepen our awareness by using repetition as a tool for movement and as an understanding of our bodies. For the last class, we will focus on how to implement everything learned so far. We will work on how to implement these movement practices into our daily lives by focusing on partnering tasks, while being mindful of the current corona situation we are in. 

My goal during this course is to spark interest towards how we think about the body, open up conversations around this topic, challenge ourselves, and last but not least, enjoy!
