Are you curious to know what it will do for you if you learn to breathe better?
These days more and more knowledge is available about the impact of breathing on our health and well-being. Among other things, your breathing affects your posture, sleep, mood and athletic performance.

In this 5-class course, you will be introduced to the scientifically proven technique Oxygen Advantage, which teaches you to breathe better functionally. You will learn how breathing works and the best way to breathe.

Each class consists of a short introduction to the theory, a few simple yoga poses to warm up the body, followed by breathing exercises. You do these exercises while sitting or while moving. You are encouraged to practice at home as well. In this way you will become more and more aware of your breathing and master the techniques.

After the course you will notice that your breath is easier and you will know what you can do to improve your sleep, focus and sports performance. A book explaining the theory and techniques is included.

The workshop is suitable for anyone interested in breathing. Experience with yoga is not necessary.

About Rutger:
Rutger started practicing Iyengar Yoga around 2005. At the time he was doing a lot of free diving: diving on a single breath of air. Yoga was supposed to help with improving the breath and to calm the mind. Quite handy when you are 30 meters underwater…
The combination of working with the body and the mental effect of yoga really appealed to him and soon yoga became his first point of interest. After following the teacher training with Clé Souren andCharles Hond he has been teaching yoga from 2012. Rutger is a level 2 Iyengar Yoga Certified teacher
